Evolution:Man ("We") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. As the data protection law changed on 25th May 2018 this privacy policy explains your rights under the new law.
This policy (together with our terms of use and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
Our privacy policy relates only to information that we obtain from you.


The type of information we will collect about you includes:
• Your name, age and date of birth
• Your phone number and e-mail address
• The information included in any documents you complete or online services to which you subscribe
• Details about the services you specifically request
• We use CCTV in our reception area for the protection of our staff and clients

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
Any information that we collect about you is stored electronically and sometimes on paper. It may also be printed and stored in our filing system.


We may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on your browser or the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. The cookies we use are "analytical" cookies. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around the site when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our website works, for example by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily. Some of the cookies we use are essential for the site to operate.

From time to time we may be called upon to demonstrate our maintenance of certain professional standards as set by appropriate authorities and/or to satisfy our auditors and/or to comply with regulations in relation to money laundering or other statutory requirements. If you do not consent to our production of your details for this purpose only as an exception to our duty of confidentiality, you can let us know by checking the appropriate box on the new account registration form.

Disclosure of your information

We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

If you wish to see any CCTV footage that we hold you can request a copy at any time. Please note there is a charge of £10 for this service. Please advise us the date and time of your visit.

Data Protection

To comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we adhere to strict security procedures. The personal information which we hold will be held securely to ensure no unauthorised disclosure or access. When you register for a user account with us you will be required to adhere to the security provisions set out in our terms and conditions.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Access to information

The GDPR law gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised at any time, should you wish to view the information we hold about you and how this was obtained. You also have the right to object the use of your personal data or ask us to delete your data at any time. This is in compliance with your right to be forgotten, with the exception of certain reasons where we have to obtain data for legal and accountancy purposes.

Clients may cancel or amend bookings up to 24 hours in advance of the time of the appointment, this can be done online or by telephone only.

If an appointment has not been canceled, moved or amended with 24 hours notice we have the right to charge clients the full balance of the appointment cost. (i.e. the payment due in the salon which equals the total cost of the appointment minus any reservation fee/deposit paid online).

Clients who cancel appointments with more than 24 hours notice will only lose their reservation fee/deposit if paid using our on-line booking system.

We store and encrypt your credit / debit card details which enables you to re-book appointments without the need to re-input the details everytime you book. Where we have the right to charge for missed or cancelled appoinements we will use this card to make those payments and send you a receipt via e-mail.


Each member of staff are self-employed, each brings with them skills and experience to offer you a great service and choice of treatments when you visit us. This gives you great flexibility and choice to see who you wish and when. You can park free of charge in the communal car park at Stoughton Grange when you've booked an appointment to see us or you're using the facilities of another business here on the grange. This car park is maintained by a third party. Please note that Evolution Man, Stoughton Grange or its representatives do not accept any liability for loss, theft or damage to vehicles when using this facility. Please take appropriate action and do not leave belonging on show, do not leave windows open or leave our car in the car park overnight.


Children can use our Barbershop services, we request anyone under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult. Only adults of 18yrs + can have treatments in our grooming studio, these include but are not restricted to: Waxing, Facials, Manicures, Pedicures, Microdermibasion, Spray Tans and Facials. Please note we have the right to ask for I.D to check your age and the right to refuse treatment if you're under 18 years of age or we feel the ID provided isn't adequate.
